Roblox has released yet another load of updates today! There weren’t really any ingame updates, but there have been a few changes around the site. Please read on and you’ll know all about today’s changes in Roblox.

A few of the new updates came with new bugs and glitches. If you notice any, the Roblox Developers will really appreciate you telling them about these problems. Just send them an email at info@roblox.com. You can also try posting about the bugs you found in the Technical Problems/Bug Reports forum.

Roblox is holding yet another map building contest!

As you probably already know, the Beijing 2008 Olympics are very close. The Roblox team is obviously so excited about this event, they can’t help but to do something about it. That’s why they’re having a Roblox Olympics building contest!

I was browsing through the Roblox forums yesterday and had a certain thread catch my eye. It was entitled “I’ve made a story for ‘The Void Star’“. I really enjoy stories, so I decided to take a look. The body of this thread contained a remarkable story.

ImNoobish wrote a fiction story on the origin of the Roblox hat, ‘The Void Star’. I enjoyed his story so much, I decided to get his permission to feature it here on Roblox News. Trust me on this; you will not regret hitting that ‘(more…)’ tag.

Most of you have heard of the winner of the 2007 Roblox funny movie contest. You have also seen the most expensive Roblox item, “JJ5×5’s White Top Hat”. If you’re one of these many people, you’ll be happy to know who today’s interviewed Roblox player is!

JJ5×5 is a great Roblox veteran. With no Builders Club, he owns all three of the Roblox top hats. That’s a pretty good accomplishment! Once finished reading this interview, be sure to get a laugh by checking his Roblox videos out here.

A new Roblox production has come among us! Introducing ROBLOXiwood!

The Roblox staff obviously enjoyed the funny video contest so much, they decided to have another movie contest! They wouldn’t base two contests on hilarious videos in a row, so they thought of another great topic. Action and adventure!

It was quite a surprise when I found out another Roblox video contest is already going. I didn’t have the chance to enter the last one, so I really hope to try this one out. As advice, I suggest you don’t base your video off of Indiana Jones. Trust me. At least 85% of the Roblox video entries will probably be related to Indiana Jones. I’d say I just made a pretty good guess.

I’m sure many of you have heard of the amazing Roblox fighter, Noobertuber. With nearly 20,000 KOs, Noobertuber holds a great position in Roblox. He is a proud owner of the Kleos Apithiton, an ubelievably rare hat that was won in the Roblox Grand Melee of August 2007.

Everyone remembers last Summer’s Roblox interns, Clockwork and Stoecker. Well, one of them obviously didn’t get enough last year, so you know how he’s going to fix that? He’s back for another Summer of Roblox internship!

This link will take you to the August ‘07 post (from the “Roblog“) that speaks on Clockwork and Stoecker leaving their jobs as Roblox interns. It’s amazing to watch time pass so quickly! I’m guessing barely any of you have heard of the Roblox player, l337. Why am I interviewing him, you ask? Well, I’ve had many interviews with great, popular Robloxians in the past. I’ve never actually had one with the normal player you see venturing through Robloxia. l337 was almost going to be featured on another Roblox fan site, but was eventually declined.

The Roblox Spring Block Party went great! I really enjoyed writing a few posts about the recent event here on Roblox News. I also enjoyed looking through all the entries and noticing the creativity in Roblox players. This truly was a fun contest. Let’s give the administrators a huge round of applause! I’d also like to really thank Roblox Community Manager, ReeseMcBlox for taking care of this contest. This contest wouldn’t be complete without her. Thanks a million, Reese!
